See what’s for lunch!
School lunches served in our school meet the federal nutrition standards for school meals. Lunch offers protein-rich foods, vegetables, fruit, rich whole grain bread and a milk choice. Children who bring lunch from home may purchase milk or juice in the cafeteria. Sharing food items among children is discouraged.
Paying for School Lunch
School lunch is a pre-pay program. If possible, we encourage families to pay for several lunches in advance, such as monthly, quarterly, etc. Lunch money will be placed in a student computer account and lunch cost will be deducted from your student’s account daily.
Pay for Meals Online
Go to My Mealtime to pay for your child's lunch online.
No more than three unpaid meal charges are allowed on a student's account. All meal accounts should be paid in full by the end of the school year; therefore, charges during the last two weeks of school are discouraged.
At the end of the year, lunch balances transfer to the next grade or school with you. Refunds will be issued upon request, if a student is leaving the school. To obtain a refund, you must complete a written request and submit it to the school's front desk.
Free and Reduced Lunches
Families experiencing difficult financial circumstances may qualify for free or reduced price meals. You may complete an application online, or obtain a form at the front desk.
Food brought to school for treats must be commercially prepared and in a sealed, unopened package. Unfortunately, we cannot serve food prepared at home in the school. It would be best if students did not bring sweets so that we might better support our healthy guidelines.
Food Allergies and Lactose Intolerance
All allergies should be reported to the school health office immediately. Students who have an allergic reaction to milk must provide a physician’s statement before we can substitute a juice drink for milk.
Lactose intolerance should not be confused with food allergies. The school lunch program is required to serve fluid milk and offers low fat, fat-free, and flavored fat-free milk. Upon the written request of a parent/guardian, lactose-reduced milk will be supplied for children who are lactose intolerant.
